Instructional Assistant - Art
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must enjoy working with children.
Art experience preferred.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may
find appropriate and acceptable.
Reports To:
School Principal
Job Goal:
To help the classroom teachers facilitate the district art
program.
Performance Responsibilities:
Gathers materials for predetermined art activities by grade
level.
Facilitates the designated art project in the regular
classroom.
Makes recommendations for materials to be ordered.
Inventories and catalogs materials.
Attends meetings, workshops, and training that are required by
the District.
Maintains a high level of ethical behavior.
Keeps all matters confidential as required.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Terms of Employment:
9 Months, Part time, 5 days per week, 7 hours per day
Salary- $9.10 - $9.47 per hour
Non-Exempt
