District salary schedule (2011-12 Base @ 25% = $10,788);

190-day contract only for 2012-13 school year

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate
issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with
a K-12 art endorsement and be "highly qualified" under
NCLB. Other desired qualifications include:
Experience with computer-generated imaging and art;
experience working with high school students; ability to
differentiate instruction to meet the wide variety of student
abilities and needs; ability to implement RTI and PBIS concepts;
strong classroom management skills; ability to be able to work
with all grade-levels 9-12; good communication skills;
willingness to assist the school by serving on school and
district committees; willingness to be a team player; and the
desire to continue to grow professionally to better be able to
educate our students.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will teach students digital imaging,
computer-based art, multimedia projects, and art classes.
Students will explore different venues of visual communication,
self-expression, and creative problem-solving through the
creation of commercial, interactive, and fine art.
Knowledge of Audacity, Irafan view/Picassa, Movie Maker, Animoto,
PhotoShop, Premier Elements, PhotoStory 3, Prezi, Voicethread,
video editing and production would be helpful. This
position will teach two classes one semester and one class the
other semester.
