(6) hours, fifteen (15) minutes daily; thirty (30) minutes duty-free lunch;
four (4) days a week

SCHEDULE: MONDAY – THURSDAY - NO FRIDAYS
A CALIFORNIA CREDENTIAL AUTHORIZING SERVICE IN AREA OF ASSIGNMENT
(i.e., General Elementary, Standard Elementary, Multiple
Subject, Single Subject, Special Education,
Psychologist, School Nurse, Speech Therapist)
To be considered for substitute teaching for the Academic Arts Program you are required to complete the
appropriate online application.
An incomplete application may be disqualified.
Academy will be funded by Title 1 for the most academically at risk
students. Instruction will focus on
selected grade level standards from the next grade as well as an exciting
enrichment program centered on the arts, artist, composers and their works.
Sites to be used are:
Garza Wayside McKinley
College Emerson Sierra
Substitute teachers will be needed during the Academic Arts Academy from June 8
to July 12, 2012, excluding Fridays.
