QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows client/server operating systems, WAN/LAN network environment, and Windows Active Directory. Experience in supporting business applications. Experience in using and supporting a Student Information System is highly desirable. This position requires the ability to work independently. Applicant must have excellent customer support skills and teamwork skills. Must possess strong interpersonal skills to assist school district staff in all levels of customer support and work as a team with other members of the Technology department. We are seeking candidates with a desire and ability to learn, ability to plan and organize workload, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position, reporting to the Director of Technology will be responsible for managing the office of Technology and provide technical assistance to users in person, via telephone, or from a remote location. Position will manage our Helpdesk Process ensuring tickets are assigned, if necessary, to correct staff member. Position will develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures, manage procurement of all technology purchases for the district, and maintain up to date records of items and secure pricing. Position will be responsible for inventory receipt/tracking and the maintenance of hardware and software licensing inventory throughout the district.
