Performance Dance Team Coach

LOCATION:

Stillwater Area High School

PURPOSE OF THE ACTIVITY:

To provide an opportunity for the development of the fundamental skills necessary to participate in a high school program. .

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

Successful experience as an assistant or head dance line coach preferred.   Have participated in high school and/or college dance line.  Successful experience as a dance instructor. Current Head coaching certification or equivalent as required by MSHSL

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:

Athletic Director

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A.      Responsible for daily coaching duties, including practices, competitions, and clinics.

B.      All other Coaching duties as assigned by athletic director or principal.

C.     Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Coaches.

D.     Fundraising as needed.

LENGTH OF ACTIVITIY:

Weeks:   16

After School/Saturday - Practice & Competitions 5 days per week

PUBLIC PERFORMANCE:

Scheduled competitions and clinics.

SALARY (POINTS):

19 Time Points + service points.

Salary Points = $151.00 per point
