Description: SNAP Program Aide
Location: Leggee Elementary School
RANGE OF PAY: $11.48 - $13.43 per hour

Responsibilities: Will assist teacher with miscellaneous classroom tasks including but not limited to assisting with classroom management, day to day procedures, assist students with special needs that may include behavioral and/or emotional needsand other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications: Minimum of 30 hours of college credit or previous experience working with children with special needs. MUST show a letter of approval as a paraprofessional issued through ROE, or hold a teaching certificate indicative of completion of at least a bachelor's degree, or hold a provisional vocational certificate. Good written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents and student. Basic math and computer skills as well as some general office skills are needed. Previous experience working with special needs children preferred.
