Summer Reading Program 2012

Position:        Director/3 <SUP>rd</SUP> Grade Teacher for Summer Reading Program 2012

Dates:             Monday, July 9, 2012 through Friday, July 20, 2012

                        *Must be available in May, June, and July for some preparation hours

Hours:            8:30 - 12:30

Location:       Holloway Elementary School

Salary:            $1586.00/for the 2 week program and preparation

Qualifications:

1.     Recent experience directing, hiring teachers for a summer school /remediation program.

2.     Valid and appropriate teaching certificate from the State of Ohio.

3.     Recent teaching experience preferred.

4.     Demonstrated ability to teaching reading/language arts.

5.     Knowledge of academic content standards and learner outcomes associated with the state achievement test.

6.     Willingness to meet the needs of all students.

7.     Ability to provide reading intervention and reading enrichment based on student need.

8.     Demonstrated ability to communicate with students and parents.

9.     Computer skills.

10. Demonstrates administrative skills.
