Thomas Jefferson Elementary School is seeking a Part Time Finance Secretary for the 2012 - 2013 school year. This position works 20 hours per week. The position will begin August, 2012.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods; general knowledge of accounting theory, principles and practices and their application to a wide variety of accounting transactions; thorough knowledge of standard office methods, practices and equipment; skill in the use of personal computer equipment; ability to maintain financial records and to prepare financial reports accurately; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty and the general public.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by courses in bookkeeping and considerable office experience involving bookkeeping and the maintenance of financial records.
