RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
1. Screen and evaluate children (Preschool-8th grades) for speech/language delays
2. Write evaluation reports
3. Write Individual Education Plans and progress reports
4. Conduct speech/language therapy including direct and consultative services
5. Participate in Child Study Team discussions and Parent/Teacher Conferences
6. Collaborate with Special Education and Regular Education Teachers
7. Participate in ongoing District Staff Development
8. Supervises speech/language pathology assistants
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1. BA/BS in Speech/Language Pathology
2. Preferably have Masters with Certificate of Clinical Competence
3. Can provide Clinical Fellowship Year for someone who has completed Masters
4. Must have Dept. of Health Services Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
5. Ability to obtain proper certification with the Department of Education

SALARY:
Per the 2012/2013 Certified Hiring Schedule & and additional $12,000
