Maintenance Custodial Position - Reports to Maintenance Director

10pm M-F and Special Events
Duration:
90 day training period/Probation, some
position may be seasonal and need is determined at the end of each school year
Position Summary:
Housekeeping Attendant's
objective is to maintain the building's cleanliness and deliver building
related services as directed by the Maintenance Director.
Qualifications:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Relevant industry related training/history of
continued education
Preferred Experience: 2-5 years housekeeping
experience in an educational facility
Required Knowledge, Skills,
and Abilities: Solid communication and
time management skills. Must be flexible, with a positive attitude and willingness
to collaborate with others. Ability to perform physically demanding work, such
as heavy lifting (50 lbs.) climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and working
outdoors in inclement weather.
Daily tasks may be but are not limited to:
Sweeping
Mopping
Removal of Trash
Clean restrooms
Filling dispensers
Clean up bodily fluids
Cleaning spills
Vacuuming floors
Clean carpets and upholstery
Clean locker rooms
Tables and counter tops
Clean nurseries
Dusting
Windows and mirrors
Cleaning, stripping and waxing floors
