ACES is seeking a Library Media Specialist for
Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School in Hamden,
CT. Wintergreen serves students in grades
K-8. Technology is an integral part of this learning
community which nurtures strengths, celebrates diversity, and
encourages model citizenship.
The success candidate must demonstrate an ability to help
students embrace reading and gather information from text; be
able to help students and staff to find, evaluate, and use
information; have experience collaborating with teachers and
working to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
Responsibilities will include management of electronic, print,
video, and other information resources.
Applicants must be team players, detail oriented with strong
technical skills, decision-making, problem-solving abilities, and
good communication skills.
CT certification as a Library Media Specialist (062)
required.
