  Description:  Facilitate Learning by identifying and understanding individual characteristics of all students taught and present subject matter accordingly; manage the classroom by organizing it to stimulate learning and to foster discipline; make professional decisions about what to teach and across subject areas based on available curriculum guidelines.

Job Summary:

Teach high school language art classes for grades 9 through 12 50% of the time and serve as the high school athlete director the other 50%.  Would receive the supplemental contract for the athlete director position.

Athlete Director organizes and administers the overall program of extracurricular athletics for the district.  Provides leadership in the selection, assignment and evaluation of athletic coaches. Responsible for the organization and scheduling of all athletic events, transportation, etc.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or high in education, State of Ohio teaching license in Language Arts 7-12, Must meet the applicable requirement of a “highly qualified” teacher per state and federal law.  Must have coaching experience.

Working Conditions: Wickliffe School District has an enrollment of 1500 students.  Our district has one elementary school, one middle school and one high school.  Our high school is grades 9 through 12 with enrollment of 500 students
