Instructional Assistant - ISS
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Must enjoy working with children.
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
Job Goal:
To assist the classroom teacher in instruction related duties as may be assigned.
Responsibilites:
Implements and maintains an effective alternative to out-of-school suspension.
Monitors lunch detention.
Maintains discipline on Mac School.
Serves as office assistant (counting menus, helping with registers, inputs student information, and helps out as needed).
Helps out in nurse's office as needed.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Terms of Employment:
9 months, Part-time, 5 days per week, 7 hrs per day
Starting Salary: $9.10 - $9.47 per hour depending on experience
