Required Qualifications:
1. Valid MN teaching license
2. Must work well with elementary aged students of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
3. Must have strong desire and skills to collaborate

4. Must be organized
5. Good human relation skills

6. Must be willing to share responsibility for all students meeting high standards

Desired Qualifications:
1. Responsive classroom training or experience

2. Reading and writing workshop training or experience

3. Understanding of formative assessment and how it applies to student learning

4. An understanding of culturally teaching and how to apply it

5. Understanding of the Professional Learning Community Process
