Position:
Supervisor, Pupil Services
We are currently seeking applications for a
Supervisor of Pupil Services. The job goal of this position is to
enable all students to benefit from their educational
opportunities to the fullest by eliminating, as far as possible,
issues that may interfere with student learning, and/or providing
a program of effective services for students.
S/he believes in
developing strong student, parent and teacher relationships
in the pursuit of academic excellence. The Supervisor has
knowledge of and successful experience in the area of Special
Education and related programs.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
INCLUDE:
CT Certification in Intermediate Administration
(092)
Advanced degree in Educational Leadership or
related field preferred
Degree in Special Education or related field
Successful teaching and/or administrative
experience, preferably in an urban setting
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate
with students, staff & parents in a
Multi-cultural community.
Demonstrated strengths in leadership, sound
interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in programs and strategies
for students who receive Special Education,
504 and/or
English Language Learner
services.
SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary in accordance with the Windham Administrator
Association contract.
Twelve-month position.
