Position Overview
The
UNO Charter School Network will be hiring STEP Test Administrators for May and
June 2011. UNO STEP Test Administrators
are a critical role to ensuring UNO teachers have accurate STEP test data to
plan and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all UNO students. UNO STEP Test
Administrators must be available May 21<sup>st</sup> – June 14<sup>th</sup>
from 7:30-3:30pm; the final schedule will be specific to the placement school. Additionally,
STEP Test Administrators will most likely not work all days in the window – the
number of days could be anywhere from 9 to 15, depending upon the size of the
school. The placement school will be determined once all STEP Test Administrators
have been identified and confirmed.
This is a part-time, contract
position that will be compensated at the rate of $100/day
Core
Responsibilities
- ·
Administer the
STEP test to UNO students in grades K-2; ensure testing conditions are
maintained.
- ·
Complete STEP
test training during the week of May 14<sup>th</sup> (1/2 day unpaid).
Qualifications
Education
- ·
Bachelor’s degree in
content area or education (preferred).
Experience
- ·
At least one year of
primary grades (K-2) teaching experience (preferred).
- ·
Experience
administering and scoring literacy assessments (strongly preferred).
- ·
Knowledge of the reading developmental stages
(strongly preferred).
Certification
- ·
Valid Illinois Type 3,
Type 9, Type 10 or equivalent (preferred).
