The Associate Teacher - Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) assists the Lead Teacher in general daily classroom activities.
Five (5) positions available for the 2012-13 school year, various locations
Up to 35 hours per week, contracted through Genesee Education Consultant Services, Inc.
$10.00 per hour; no fringe benefits
The position is a temporary, limited duration (through 9/30/13), grant-funded and/or consortium-funded position. The position is not in a bargaining unit, may never be in a bargaining unit, and any bargaining unit contracts, benefits and rights do not apply to the position.
Education/Certification Requirements: Associates Degree in Early Childhood; or a high school diploma/equivalent and a child development associates credential; or a Bachelor's degree with either ZA endorsement or at least 15 college credits in early childhood. Must also maintain current CPR and first aid certification. Position requires DHS clearance.
Two (2) years' work experience in early childhood programs preferred. Punctuality, good attendance and ability to work a flexible workday and work week are required.
