The Lead Teacher - Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is
responsible for the planning, supervision and implementation of a
developmentally appropriate early childhood program, and meeting
the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of young
children in the Great Start Readiness Program.
Eight (8) positions available for the 2012-13 school year,
various locations
Up to 35 hours per week, contracted through Genesee
Education Consultant Services, Inc.
$22 per hour; no fringe benefits
The position is a temporary, limited duration (through
9/30/13), grant-funded and/or consortium-funded position.
The position is not in a bargaining unit, may never be in a
bargaining unit, and any bargaining unit contracts, benefits and
rights do not apply to the position.
Bachelor's degree in elementary education, valid Michigan
teacher certificate with an early childhood (ZA)
endorsement. Must also maintain current CPR and first aid
certification.
Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in early childhood
in an early childhood setting required. Punctuality, good
attendance and ability to work a flexible workday and work week
are required.
