Spring Lake Park Schools Asst. 8th Grade Football Coach DUTY DAYS: Approximately 6 weeks START: On or about August 27, 2012 HOURS: 3:00-5:00 pm 5 days/week
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Help oversee all aspects of the Westwood Middle School 8th grade football program, including but not limited to setting up practices; supervision of athletes at practices and games; care and maintenance of program equipment; to instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and games.
PREFERNECES: Previous experience as a player and/or coach in football.
QUALIFICAIONS: MN Teacher License or MN Coaching Certification, and previous experience working with middle school age students. A strong background in football as a participant and/or coach required. Must have good communication and organizational skills. Also, understands the role of the level the individual is coaching as it relates to the program.
