JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for collecting and delivering various AISD materials/inventory. This may include collecting and delivering instructional/custodial supplies, textbooks, food, furniture, etc. Incumbent must have a valid Texas Driver's License and be operationally proficient with delivery vans, 2½-ton trucks, and electric powered forklifts and pallet jacks. Incumbent must have current Commercial Drivers License in possession at all times while operating AISD vehicles that require a CDL. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Assists receiving personnel at all facilities with physical accounting of delivered materials and/or equipment. *Assists section Storekeeper with receiving and storage of supplies and equipment and the processing of Warehouse requisitions. *May direct the activities of temporary supplementary delivery personnel. *Participate in learning the activities in other areas of the Warehouse. *Perform other related duties as assigned; however, all employees are expected to comply with lawful directives in rare situations driven by need where a team effort is required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: This position requires ten (10) to twelve (12) years of school or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one (1) year of related experience. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Incumbent must have knowledge of all motor vehicle laws, and exceptional knowledge of the AISD operations area. The position will require incumbent to maintain simple records, and have the ability to deal with students in an effective manner. Incumbent must be able to follow complex oral and written instructions.
DUTY DAYS: 260 DAYS
SALARY: MT5: $11.36 - $14.20/hr
Salary determination will be based on documented experience.
