Casual/Seasonal - June 25 through July 28 - 12:30 pm until 5:30 pm

Coordinator of Gifted, Arts and Enrichment
Salary Classification:
EPER - $30.00 per hour

Job Goal: Choreographers design and direct the dance or stylized movement in musical productions, working closely with the director and music director.
Job Qualifications:
1. Certified Teacher, grades 4-12 experience preferred.
2. Experience with choreography in musicals.
3. Experience working with children's theater preferred.
Essential Functions:
1. Work with colleagues during the casting, rehearsal and performance phases of the production.
2. The Director of Choreography will be responsible for assisting with all facets of the production, including:
a. Auditions/casting
b. Rehearsals, including teaching small group and full cast routines, and assisting with blocking
c. Set design
d. Costumes and props
e. Advertising and tickets
f. Striking of the set
3. Providing supervision and ensuring safety of students and volunteer workers. At all times, a safe and appropriate work environment will be maintained for students and staff participating in the program. Brandywine School District reserves the right to periodically inspect the environment and make changes it deems necessary throughout the production.
