The literacy coach will be responsible for the professional development of teachers implementing reading and writing workshop in the classroom, primarily in grades 5 and 6. Other duties will include curriculum alignment, resource development, assessment analysis, professional development planning and implementation. The literacy coach will work closely with the administrators at the building and district levels to meet the needs of staff and students.
