Qualifications/Experience:
Licensure
in EBD and successful experiences working with EBD children and families required with social skills, instructional experience, and
great problem-solving skills
Prefer familiarity with Sped forms and DUE process procedures.
Skills Needed:
Ability
to help students with Individualized Learning Plans become independent learners
through social skills instruction, problem-solving, and an excellent support
system. Ability to manage behavior and instructional assistants is a must.
Specific Tasks:
Case
manage students on Individualized Learning Plans, provide social skills
instruction, provide academic and emotional/behavioral support, follow due
process, and work collaboratively with a team of educators. The ideal candidate will be able to develop
and follow a schedule, complete due process forms promptly, and be a leader in
the area of student behavior interventions.
Hours per day:
7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
