**This position is a Continuing Substitute Teaching
position for one school year only.
Applicants in good
standing may reapply for open vacancies in subsequent
years. Salary placement and benefits are similar to a
permanent teacher position excepting sick bank enrollment,
entitlement to extended leaves, sabbatical leaves, seniority,
the ability to transfer. Seniority can be accrued if
employment is continuous.
A Teacher in the Nashua School District is highly qualified
for the delivery of specified course content, uses effective
strategies for differentiation, interacts
postitively, professionally, showing respect with
students and parents, expects students to learn and not
fail, actively engages students in lessons that are planned
around grade level expectations
and enhance critical thinking skills. Teachers implement

peers regularly to align curriculum and enhance the
instructional environment towards gains in student
performance goals. Professional obligations of

lessons, meeting deadlines and honoring schedules.
Teaching applicants must be NH certified or anticipate or hold
a statement of eligibility issued by the NH Department

if teaching core academic areas.
Secondary teachers, fully certified to teach in a core
academic content area are HQT.
