Director of Pupil Personnel Services
Qualifications:
Appropriate Connecticut certification and
additional qualifications as determined by the Hamden Board of
Education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·
Extensive knowledge of state and federal special education
laws
·
Extensive knowledge and experience with the Planning and
Placement Team (PPT) process
and Scientific
Research-Based Interventions (SRBI)
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·
The ability to recognize, plan and develop staff development
activities
·
The ability to delegate to and follow-up with a broad spectrum
of stakeholders
·
The ability to develop and present the annual Pupil Personnel
Services (PPS) budget
