School Principal of WSC Academy

Job Summary: 

The Principal is accountable to the  WSC Academy Board of Directors and serves to oversee the daily operational functions of teaching, instructional support services as well as support services for WSC Academy.  The Principal is responsible for assuring appropriate education to meet the needs of the youth enrolled.  The youth's education must meet State of Michigan requirements, as well as WSC Academy policy and procedure.  The Prinicipal will work collaborately to direct and nurture all members of the WSC Academy team and to communicate effectively with parents. 

Qualifications:

Teaching Degree and Master's degree in Educational Leadership preferred, or an agreement to work towards required professional development guidelines set by the State of Michigan.  Experience in teaching and administering elementary and secondary education in an alternative education environemnt preferred.  Subscibe to the Mission and Value of WSC Academy.
