Middle School Special Education Teacher

Qualifications:
Minnesota SLD teaching license required.  Qualified applicants must demonstrate the following:  applicable experience and demonstrated success in working with secondary students; excellent classroom management skills; ability to differentiate instruction to a varied level of learners; a positive attitude and strong communication skills; openness and availability to students; desire and ability to work cooperatively with other department members; and committed to the School and District Strategic Plan.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SpEd Due Process, state and federal laws, data collection, applicable Minnesota Standards, familiarity with computer technology, commitment to equity in teaching and learning.  Two years middle school teaching experience.

FTE: Full-time
Starting date: 2012-13 school year
