Position:
The Needham Public Schools seeks outstanding applicants for
the position of Spanish teacher at Needham High School.
Position
Responsibilities:
The successful
candidate will plan and teach sections of Spanish 3, 4 and 5 as well as work collaboratively
with members of the world language department to support student learning and
growth.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a
Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred. The candidate should possess good
communication and interpersonal skills. He/she should have experience working
with and/or teaching high school students; an understanding of the needs of
students at this age; a collaborative work ethic; training/experience in the
use of instructional technology; a commitment to inclusive pedagogy; and the
potential to contribute to student life beyond the classroom. The ability to teach first year Latin is a plus.
License:
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary license
as a high school Spanish Teacher.
