Description:
Seeking dynamic and versatile Mathematics teacher for two of our three District 69 buildings! Candidates will provide Math instruction (Lincoln Junior High) and Library Media Center instruction (Edison). Ideal candidates will have experience with the adoption of a new Math series and/or program, and/or experience with Glencoe Math. An understanding of Mathematics at an expert level is essential. In addition, candidates must be able to work with a team of teachers to support classroom instruction via the library and lab settings. Candidates must be proficient in presenting instruction through a variety of instructional strategies and in a manner that appropriately challenges all students, from those who struggle to those who excel.
Qualifications:
Illinois Initial or Standard Elementary Certificate (Type 03) with endorsement in Mathematics or Illinois Initial or Standard Secondary Certificate (Type 09) with endorsement in Middle School and General Mathematics. In addition, candidates must be ESL endorsed or must be enrolled in an ESL endorsement program by August 20, 2012.
