  Qualifications/Experience:

Current Minnesota Special Ed license in EBD and CPI training required, along with previous work with primary aged students with behavior and academic needs.

ASD certification/license preferred. 

Skills Needed:
Behavior management skills, ability to teach social skills, reading, and math to primary-aged students. Excellent knowledge of due process and all paperwork  regarding special education.  Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and other school staff.  Organization and flexibility.  Team work. Comfortable with change.  Self-starter. Dedicated, responsible, puts children's needs first, prompt and on time with due process paperwork.

Specific Tasks:
All duties and responsibilities commensurate with a special education teacher/EBD in a primary school setting.

Hours per day:
7.5 hours per day from 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
