Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and passed IA skills test/ 60 college credits required.
Prefer experience working with special behavior needs children.
Skills Needed:
Flexibility,
consistency, team work, love for children, confidentiality. Ability to go outside for recess supervision. Gathering data will be necessary.
Specific Tasks:
Student
displays non-compliant behavior such as leaving assigned spaces and becoming
aggressive with students and adults. The
student will need to be refocused and redirected in the classroom. Independence will need to be encouraged. Student will need assistance in Music, PE and
other specialist areas. Assistance at
recess and lunch will be needed.
Hours per day:
6.5 hours per day from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (includes 30 min. unpaid lunch) for rest of school year.
