Speech/Language Pathologists
The Pelham School District seeks speech/language pathologists to provide therapy to preschool and early elementary students with educational disabilities. The successful candidates will be highly trained in relation to a wide range of communication disorders and other disabilities that impact the speech/language development of young children. Must be able to assess communication needs, monitor student progress, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support all aspects of the special education process. Furthermore, must be able to communicate complex information related to communication disorders in ways that are easily understood by teachers, parents and paraprofessionals. Knowledge and experience in the areas of applied behavioral analysis, augmentative communication, and autism spectrum disorders is preferred. Working knowledge of RtI is very advantageous.
Three Full Time Positions - Possible consideration for part time positions.
Licensed through the Office of Allied Health Professionals is required.
