Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License or eligible for Colorado Teaching License
  • Physical Education Endorsement
  • K-12 or Elementary Level

Preferred:

  • Ability to collaborate with staff to implement a consistent standards-based Physical Education Program
  • Previous experience working with elementary age students
  • Ability to incorporate literacy / numeracy skills into the Physical Education program
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with students with diverse needs
  • Knowledge of and experience with Positive Behavior Support initiatives
  • Willingness to be flexible in scheduling gym usage
  • Willingness to collaborate with staff in supporting schoolwide programs and initiatives
  • Willingness to develop extra-curricular activities
