Job Summary: Build
the capacity of the school(s) and its teachers to meet the learning needs of
all students. Ensure that the school staff acquires the understanding and
skills to enhance instructional practices at the classroom level and raise the
level of student achievement
Qualifications: Valid Louisiana
Teaching Certificate in education, Highly Qualified status, Teacher Leader endorsement
preferred; Minimum of five years of teaching experience
Salary Range: Based on the current Board approved Teacher Salary Scale (202 days)
Application Procedure: Although you must upload your required documents to Applitrack, you must bring a cover letter, resume with at least three professional references with current contact information, and proof of certification with you to the Job Fair. You must register online. You will not be allowed to interview unless all required documents are present at the time of the interview. Please have as many copies of the required documents as the number of schools by which you wish to be interviewed. Interviews will be based on a first come, first serve basis at the Job Fair.
The job fair will be held at the David Thibodaux Career and Technical High School Cafeteria on 805 Teurlings Drive, Lafayette, LA, 70501 from 8:30am to 3:00pm.
