SUMMARY:
Responsible for the support of technology within the building assigned. You will be expected to provide entry level break/fix, as well as training in support of the use of technology.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Troubleshoot both hardware and software problems
§ Document problems and solutions using help desk support system
§ Provide training to staff in the use of technology
§ Develop training materials and tutorials to assist staff with the use of technology
§ Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both staff and students
§ Work independently and demonstrate initiative
§ Advance your understanding of the technology you are tasked with supporting
§ Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Should be familiar with basic technology troubleshooting concepts
§ Ability to work with and communicate effectively with various school audiences
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
§ The desired candidate would have experience in an educational environment working with staff and/or students
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
§ Candidates with technology training/certification will be given special consideration
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
§ Candidate must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
