Qualifications:
- Valid Type 75 Illinois Administrative Certificate or the
ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated successful experience as a building
level administrator
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a
broad audience
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate data into developing
strategic goals to improve instruction and student
achievement
- The ability to model best practices in the use of technology
in the classroom and in their administrative capacity
- The ability to be highly visible in the school
community, with community based organizations and active within
the school district at large
- Preferred experience working with a Three-Tiered
Intervention Model
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with
students, staff, parents, community members and colleagues
- Demonstrated success in working with Danielson Framework For
Teacher Evaluation and/or extensive knowledge in best practices
for certified staff evaluation
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of
the elementary school concept
