French Teacher, a High School position and a
Middle School position-for full consideration apply by May 31,

Requirements:
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with French
(FA) endorsement for Grades 6-12; additional Spanish (FF)
endorsement desirable; K-12 endorsement, understanding of
middle school concept, understanding of International
Baccalaureate Programme (particularly the Diploma, Middle Years
Programmes) helpful.
Please note that new teachers to the district
will be placed on the salary schedule consistent with their
education. The teacher will be hired at step 0 (years of
experience) if they have not taught previously, otherwise with
a year or more of teaching experience, the teacher will be
placed at step 1 (one year of experience). Experience and
education will be as defined in the collective bargaining
agreement.

Requirements: Valid Michigan
Secondary Teaching Certificate with appropriate
certification (BA or BX) and must be able to meet all
requirements to be considered Highly Qualified under the NCLB
legislation.
