Middle/Upper School Math Teacher:
North Shore Country Day School, a JK-12 school in near suburban Chicago, seeks an experienced and dynamic Mathematics Teacher for the start of the 2012-2013 Academic Year. The teaching assignments will be determined based on the background of the candidate hired but will be in either the Middle (grades 6-8) or Upper (grades 9-12) School Divisions. While a bachelor's degree is required, a master's degree is preferred. Ideal candidates will have five or more years of experience teaching middle school, a demonstrable talent for teaching mathematics, strong written and verbal communication skills, and an enthusiastic commitment to working with middle schoolstudents. Additionally, candidates who can also add to the life of the school through coaching, sponsoring one or more activities, or supporting strategic initiatives will be particularly attractive.
