Position Opportunity:

This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a customer-service-oriented individual to be a member of a Technology Team that leads the support, training, and planning efforts for educational technology systems in a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 high-performing school district.

Qualifications:
- Functions as a leader and team member
- Customer-service-oriented
- Committed and tenacious troubleshooter
- Mac OS X Server Workgroup Manager experience required
- Cisco support experience required
- Apple certifications such as Apple System Administrator (ACSA) preferred
- Cisco certifications preferred
- Ability to problem solve.

Performance Responsibilities:

Manage Workgroup Manager System for All District Computer Users
- Configure, maintain, and design user and group experience (Open Directory)
- Configure, maintain, and update building Document Storage Servers and Document RAIDs
- Configure, maintain, update, and support building Authorization Servers (and replicas)
- Configure, maintain, and update SAN/Xserve
- Configure, maintain, and update Group Share share point and server

Manage Routers and Switches
- Manage VLAN configuration for District and Building Core Switches (6509)
- Manage VLAN configuration for District and Building Rack Switches (3560)
- Configure ports for Firewall/VPN (District)
- Manage backups for all Cisco configurations
- Configure, maintain, and update Outside Name Servers and Inside DNS/DHCP Servers
- Monitor network

Manage Web Filtering System
- Configure, maintain, update, and support Web Filtering system (Lightspeed)
- Unblock and block websites

Manage Cisco Access Control System
- Configure, add, and delete VPN users
- Configure Access control

Configure and Maintain District Backup Systems
- Maintain backup Server for Backup RAID
- Restore files for users
- Manage Offsite Backup (at Greeley)

Manage Data Center Operations
- Configure and maintain KVM Switch system (Raritan)
- Monitor Data Center rooftop air conditioning
- Monitor and manage District Backup Power Generator (Generac)
- Monitor UPS (GE Unit)
- Set up and manage District Rack Power Distribution Module system
- Configure, maintain, and update Network Monitoring system

Manage Servers
- Configure, maintain, and update imaging server (Deploy Studio), internal software update server, Web Help Desk system, intranet server, District web servers, FileMaker Server, PowerSchool test server,  all virtualized servers

Manage Email and Email Filtering
- Maintain user accounts
- Configure, maintain, and update email system
- Configure, maintain, and update email filter
- Configure, maintain, and update email archiving

Manage District Wireless System
- Configure, maintain, and support Cisco Wireless system
- Configure, maintain, and support Cisco Wireless Base Stations and Controller

Manage District VOIP Telephone system
- Configure, maintain, and support Avaya VOIP servers
- Configure, maintain, and support ObjectWorld Voicemail system
- Configure, maintain, and support Avaya phones
- Configure, maintain, and support VOIP users

Act as liaison
- Interact with Internet Service Provider for maintenance, troubleshooting (primary)
- Schedule annual maintenance for GE UPS Unit in Data Center
- Interact with AT&T for service, maintenance, troubleshooting
- Contact and work with low-voltage and electrical contractors
- Interact with VOIP vendor for service, maintenance, troubleshooting
