QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires knowledge of proper office methods and procedures
including receptionist and telephone techniques, word
processing, filing systems and maintenance, reporting
functions, basic accounting, organizational skills, proper
English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary.
Knowledge of K.H.S.D. general operations, policies,
regulations, procedures, activities, and operations as related
to personnel administration.
Must possess the skill to understand and carry out oral and
written instructions without constant supervision; the ability
to type
45 WPM
; compose/process various types of correspondence with general
direction; must be able to complete a variety of complex word
processing procedures; establish and maintain a variety of
records; prepare reports; communicate effectively and tactfully
in oral and written forms; prioritize and appropriately
schedule assigned work load; operate a variety of office
equipment including a computer terminal; establish and maintain
effective work relationships with those contacted in the
performance of duties; perform other related duties as
required.
Three years of responsible clerical
experience involving public contact, preferably including
personnel experience is required.
A recent TYPING CERTIFICATE MUST ACCOMPANY
THE APPLICATION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
A CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED OF
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.
DUTIES OF POSITION:
To perform a variety of clerical support duties in the
processing of District classified and/or certificated employee
personnel matters and to perform a variety of
operational/administrative support functions related to the
activities of an assigned District personnel work unit (s).
This position requires attention to detail, organizational
skills, and the ability to effectively and tactfully
communicate.
STARTING SALARY:
$2,963.00 (monthly)
NUMBER OF MONTHS:
12 (to begin as soon as possible)
NUMBER OF HOURS:
8 (daily working hours to 7:30 a.m. - 4:30
p.m.)
