The School District of the City of Royal Oak and PCMI Services announce the following open position for the 2012 - 2013 school year:

 

General Office, Vocational Education and Career Development Secretary (1.0 FTE)
Churchill Community Education Center

 

QUALIFICATION:                 

1.     Exceptional communication, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

2.     Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Office Suite programs such as Microsoft Office

3.     Accurate keyboarding skills – Minimum 50 wpm

4.    Demonstrated success with recordkeeping and digital filing

5.    Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of office technology

6.    Outstanding reading, writing, editing, and proofreading skills

7.    Preference given to candidates with database software experience with student and financial applications

8.     Excellent employment and attendance record

9.     Skills to promote good relations with students, staff , parents and community

10.  Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in previous positions with District

11.  Other duties as may be assigned

 

JOB

SUMMARY:                         Performs duties as General Office Secretary which

                                            includes secretarial/clerical functions, recordkeeping, reporting, and other duties as

                                            assigned.      

 

SALARY:                       Appropriate placement on the ROESA Secretarial/Clerical Schedule,

                                            Classification #5, 8 hours per day – 52 weeks per year
