10 Month Secretary

Monday through Friday - 8 hours per day

Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with parents, students, and teachers
  • Computer experience working with Word, Excel, Finance Plus, Aesop, and Pinnacle preferred
  • Ability to work with students from a diverse background
  • Ability and willingness to assist students with medical needs
  • Certified to dispense medicine or willing to become certified
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Experience working in a team atmosphere
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with interruptions
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bookkeeping/payroll experience
  • Experience working in a team atmosphere
  • Helpful customer service skills are must

Working Conditions:

Employee must be able to sit, stoop, bend, and walk as needed on a daily basis. While performing duties within this job, employee may be exposed to indoor and outdoor conditions and a noise level that can range from mild to loud.

  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observations, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to operate a personal computer and related office, as well as operate, maintain, and repair various department equipment and materials.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits the employee to function in the context of the office to include but not limited to: operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as mentioned above; lifting, moving, and carrying up to 50 pounds; prolonged standing and/or sitting; and the capability to move independently.
  • Environmental conditions include those risks normally associated with in the context of an office environment and potential exposure to computer and office equipment cleaning chemicals and solutions.  The noise level can minimal to loud.
