Duties and
responsibilities:
·
Compete
task assigned by Director and Supervisor.
·
Plan and
facilitate district and building in-services, workshops and
committee meetings.
·
Lead and
organize collaborative groups.
·
Provide
instructional support for teachers on curricular issues (lesson
planning, support materials, effective instructional
delivery).
·
Provide
instructional assistance (one on one, small group, department,
grade level, and building)
·
Develop
curriculum, assessments and instructional support materials as
necessary.
·
Analyze
data to monitor the effectiveness of policy changes and
instructional practices.
·
Provide
input on the budget, process purchase orders, disperse materials
to schools.
·
Facilitate
communication on STEM issues intra district, inter district and
with state agencies.
·
Serve on
state level committees as required.
·
Create a
climate of trust, establish and maintain strong working
relationships and promote professional growth.
Criteria:
·
Current
Idaho Teaching Credential.
·
Five years
secondary teaching experience including math and science teaching
assignments.
·
A record
of effective math and science instruction.
·
Familiar
with the Common Core State Standards for Math, the State Content
Standards for Science and The Next Generation Science
Standards
·
A record
of implementing reformed based mathematics and inquiry based
science instructional strategies in the classroom.
·
Ability to
multitask and meet deadlines.
·
Ability to
operate independently or as a member of a team.
·
Ability to
take initiative and identify what needs to be done.
·
Solid
organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
·
