Job Summary: Teacher answers to the Building Principal and adheres to the teacher's job description. Qualifications: Type 03 or Type 09 Teaching certification with an endorsement in Language Arts and knowledge of Middle School. Must be NCLB highly qualified. Computer skills necessary. Ablilty and willingness to participate in team planning & activities, supportive of middle school goals. Strong classroom management skills. Candidate must be organized, have a positive attitude. Able to work with administrators, staff, and parents to foster an efficient school operation. Spanish speaking desirable.
Working Conditions: Regular school days (180 days a year)
Salary: Starting, $37,842, commensurate with salary schedule and experience. Competitive benefits package.
