Summary: The Intensive Learning Teacher of Students with Disabilities providesspecialized instruction and support to enable students to be included in thegeneral education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. To support studentachievement, instruction is provided within the framework of district and statestandards and the Positive Behavior Interventions and Support model. Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be culturally responsive andable to implement each essential duty satisfactorily.
