This position will work from 8:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m., Monday through Friday, and will include 2 class periods and one planning period.
Description:
Foreign Language: Spanish candidates must have the knowledge, skills, and ability to teach and develop basic language concepts and cultural appreciation. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to make positive connections to students, parents, and have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The candidate must value continued learning and growth and create a positive and highly motivating learning environment. Candidates will be asked to complete a Spanish proficiency evaluation.
Qualifications: Must possess a valid Illinois teaching certificate (initial, standard, or master) and be endorsed to teach in the middle grades setting by the start of work.
