Description:
-Coach middle school girls to particpate in cheer activities
at games and school events as appropriate
-Hold call-out for prespective athletes
-Hold parent meeting(s)
-Check for athlete eligibility determined by proper physical
on file, emergency contact information and grade requirements
-Run organized and supervised practices on scheduled practice
dates
-Prepare and attend all events
-Properly care for athletes, equipment, uniforms and
facilities
-Prepare local media and school announcements of team
wins/losses
-Follow all rules and guidelines of the athletic policy,
coaches handbook, LMS and LCSC School Board policies
Requirements:
-Candidate should be a strong role model for students
-Candidate will commit to maintaining discipline
-Candidate will promote good sportsmanship conduct to
represent Logansport Community Schools
-Previous experience coaching and/or teaching middle school
students
-Candidate must complete and clear expanded criminal history
background check
-Candidate must complete and clear drug sreen
Qualifications:
-Previous experience coaching and knowledge of cheerleading
highly recommended
