QUALIFICATIONS
·
Valid Michigan
Elementary Teaching Certification (ZG), Math Endorsement
preferred
·
Experience working
with special needs students in regular classroom
·
Experience in working
with special education teachers and paraprofessionals
·
Knowledge of
differentiated instruction to meet various students needs present
in the classroom.
·
Experience with and/or
ability to team teach and flexibly group students with grade
level peers
·
Strong organization,
classroom management and collaboration & communication
skills
·
Must have an
understanding of MiBLSi and strategies for implementing positive
behavior supports
·
Must have an
understanding of RTI and its application in the classroom
·
Active and continuous
learner in the area of elementary education, research based
instructional strategies,
·
and best
practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:
·
Preferred training in and
ability to implement Collins Writing Program methods and
strategies
·
DIBELS trained and
ability to administer all DIBELS assessments
·
Experience in
professional learning communities and/or using data to drive
instruction
