High School Visual Arts Teacher
Strong visual art educator needed to teach traditional and digital 2D and 3D studio art courses in a high performing program
Licensed to teach Visual Arts in Massachusetts. Candidate needs to have strong skills in traditional 2D and 3d studio art education along with having the creativity and experience in bringing these skills into the digital world of photo and art. Candidates will be expected to submit a portfolio of personal work to demonstrate artistic skill and accomplishment. Actual courses taught dependent upon student elective enrollments.
State of the art High School Art facilities including new studios, computer labs, darkroom and digital photo labs. High performing program resulting in consistent, individual advanced student achievement in the arts. Candidate needs to have strong skills in traditional 2D and 3d studio art education for a high performing program along with skills in digital art/photo. Candidates will be expected to submit a portfolio of personal work to demonstrate artistic skill and accomplishment. Actual courses taught dependent upon student elective enrollments.
Selection Procedure: Interview with Director of Fine & Performing Arts, hiring committee, and building principal prior to final Human Resources interview.
