Responsibilities include facilitating communication for deaf/hard of hearing students in the mainstream for all activities throughout the school day including all academic classes, assemblies, related service sessions, field trips and extracurricular activities as needed. RID Certification or NAD Certification Level IV or higher and registration with CDHI preferred. Interpreters with a plan for achieving certification within 5 years from passing the written exam will be considered.
